"Diego esta muerto,
              D10S esta vivo".

On November 25th Diego Armando Maradona past away due to a cardio respiratory crisis. Undisputed leader in the history of the Argentine national football team and established hero in Neapolitan culture, D10S as his fans called him, has represented and represents for almost 3 generations an iconic person who will remain imprinted in the history books for his humility. his greatness and his genius not only on soccer fields.
After his birthday on October 30th when he turned 60 he was rushed to hospital for a brain operation caused by an old trauma. He was hospitalized at his home for reasons still unknown, and there on the morning of November 25th he had a respiratory crisis and no immediate help from the team of doctors and nurses who had the task of monitoring his condition. These photos are testimony to how his death was celebrated in Naples. Some points of the city have been transformed into veritable celebratory altars in which his "devotees" have placed scarves, sweaters, funeral lights, candles and any type of object that celebrated Diego Armando Maradona. The altars have become a place of pilgrimage in recent days and recently the mayor of Naples Luigi de Magistris announced his decision to change the name of the San Paolo stadium to the Diego Armando Maradona Municipal Stadium.
